Nippn Funded Utah Flour Milling Begins Full-Scale Operations, Marking a Milestone in U.S. Business Entry

Utah Flour Milling, a U.S.-based company funded by Nippn, has recently begun operations at its flour mill plant constructed in the state of Utah.

The plant is capable of producing approximately 340 tons of wheat flour per day. In addition to adopting advanced milling technologies, it features state-of-the-art, environmentally conscious facilities. Since the company’s establishment in 2023, Nippn has participated in the mill’s management as a business and strategic partner.

On September 18, a commemorative ceremony was held locally, attended by about 100 guests.

At the ceremony, Nippn President Toshiya Maezuru said, “By combining Utah Flour Milling’s U.S. flour milling know-how and NIPPN’s expertise, we will be able to expand the sales channels in the U.S. market and supply more competitive products. We are also delighted to be able to support our Japanese customers entering the U.S. market. The investment in Utah Flour Milling is an important milestone for NIPPN’s entry into the flour-milling business in the United States, one of the world’s major wheat-producing countries. We believe that this full operation will drive further growth in our overseas business including U.S. business by leveraging synergies with our two existing U.S. bases: NIPPN California and Pasta Montana.”
