Korea’s Buldak, Samyang Foods Unveils ENHYPEN as Global Ambassadors for “MEP” Brand— Adding Excitement and Fun to Everyday Life

Samyang Foods, the Korean company behind the globally popular “Buldak Fried Noodles,” has appointed ENHYPEN as global ambassadors for its brand “MEP,” launched in 2023. Under the slogan “Kicks in every bite,” the company aims to share the appeal of deliciously spicy ramen while offering experiences that add thrill and enjoyment to everyday life.

Since 2023, the “MEP” brand has been released in Korea, the United States, China, and Thailand, and made its debut in Japan in 2025. Rather than being simply spicy, the ramen offers a variety of heat sensations—from tingling to fiery intensity. In Japan, two products are available: Black Pepper Beef Flavor Ramen and Garlic Shellfish Flavor Ramen.

ENHYPEN is a seven-member group that made debut in 2020. Composed of multinational members from Korea, Japan, and the United States, they are attracting growing attention as a next-generation K-POP group.

Starting in October, short videos featuring the members introducing “MEP” have been released on the company’s official video streaming site and social media. These clips highlight how the new brand integrates naturally into everyday life.

Looking ahead, Samyang Foods plans to sequentially release additional short videos for each product, along with behind-the-scenes footage from the shoots.
