Ginbis is introducing limited-time new products to nurture its new brand, “Biscuit That’s Like Cake,” launched in 2024, in response to consumers’ desire to indulge themselves from time to time.
From September 22, 2025 through the end of the year, the company released “Baked Cheesecake Flavor” (50g) under the brand, and on December 15, as the Christmas season approached, it launched the new “Strawberry Shortcake Flavor” (50g).
Both products share a biscuit dough with a pleasant melt-in-the-mouth texture that has white chocolate infused into it. In addition, “Baked Cheesecake Flavor” uses 0.3% Hokkaido cream cheese in the product, while “Strawberry Shortcake Flavor” uses 0.1% Hokkaido whole milk powder in the product, each bringing out its own distinctive flavor.
“Biscuit That’s Like Cake” is a product with a new texture that combines a slightly thick biscuit with a pleasant melt-in-the-mouth feel and a manufacturing method that infuses the material with chocolate.
The biscuit shape is also carefully designed, formed into a triangle so that it evokes a cake.
Moe Yoshimura, in charge of public relations in the Sales Division, said in an interview, “As a value-added product, we are developing it so that the women in their 20s to 40s who we are targeting can enjoy a reward-like feeling with one bite during moments when they want to take a break between work, housework, or childcare.”
Last spring, in addition to the existing stand pouch (50g) for the core flavors “Gâteau Chocolat Flavor” and “Tiramisu Flavor,” the company launched a box type (80g) to expand shelf presence.
