Ajinomoto has launched demonstration experiments on the usefulness of the AI Menu Planner (β version)—an AI-based automatic meal planning service jointly developed with Chi-technology, a company engaged in developing system and package software for the school lunch industry. The trials are being conducted with multiple school lunch service companies.
The AI Menu Planner is designed to simplify and streamline operations by automatically generating meal plans that meet the needs of registered dietitians, using menu and recipe data owned by school lunch providers.
By entering parameters such as nutritional content, cost, seasonality, and special event meals, the system selects and combines data registered in “Mr. Kondateman Web” to create suitable menus. Through this service, Ajinomoto aims to promote digital transformation (DX) in the school lunch industry, helping solve industry challenges and drive further growth.
